Ways to be Involved

Children and Youth

  • Children 3 years old through Middle School are invited to come to Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 8am. Sunday School goes from September through May.
  • Matthew 19:13-14 says, "Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”  At St. Bartholomew's we love having children worship with us! When it is time for communion they are welcome to come up toe the alter for a blessing as well.

Adults

  • Adult Bible Study takes place on Sundays at 8am before our 9am service.  Sunday morning Bible Study takes place September though May.
  • A Women's Book/Devotional Study takes place as well twice a month.  All ladies of the congregation are welcome to attend.
  • Women in the congregation are also welcome to attend Ladies Aid meetings once a month.  Pastor leads a short devotion and then a meeting takes place.  The Ladies Aid does different activities through out the year, including LWML activities.
  • Each month there is an opportunity for people to be involved in Alter Guild, Ushering, and Greeting.  If you are interested in participating please contact the office.
  • All adult members of the congregation are also welcome to participate in the Church Council.  These groups include:
    • Elders, Evangelism, Trustees

Musicians

  • Men and women are invited to sing in St. Bartholomew's choir. All singers are welcome.
